Premium Graduate Placements (PGP) partners with Australian organisations to provide industry-based vocational placements for students and recent graduates in Information Technology.

This program is designed for aspiring IT professionals looking to gain practical experience in technical support, software development, networking, systems administration, cloud technologies, and web development while working alongside experienced industry professionals.

IT Placement Areas

Placements may be available in one or more of the following areas:

- IT Support / Help Desk
- Software Development
- Web Development (Frontend, Backend or Full Stack)
- Network Engineering
- Systems Administration
- Cloud Computing
- DevOps
- Quality Assurance (QA) / Software Testing

Key Responsibilities Depending on your placement, you may:

- Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware or software issues
- Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining software applications
- Support website and web application development
- Assist with network monitoring, configuration, and maintenance
- Help maintain servers, operating systems, and IT infrastructure
- Participate in cybersecurity monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and security best practices




- Perform software testing, bug reporting, and quality assurance activities
- Prepare technical documentation and user guides
- Collaborate with IT teams on technology projects and continuous improvements

Requirements

- Currently studying or recently graduated in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, PHP, or JavaScript is advantageous
- Understanding of computer systems, networking, or web technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Availability for at least 3 days per week
