About Our Client
Our client is a global supply chain leader who manages high-volume, time-critical distribution and logistics across Australia and New Zealand. We are looking for an Interim Supply Chain Director to provide leadership across the ANZ supply chain function for a period of 6 months.
The Role
Reporting to the CEO, this role is accountable for product replenishment, promotions, order management and assured supply, while contributing to the broader global supply chain leadership. This role requires flexibility and agility in your approach and there will be a requirement to be on call and available to key clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and execute supply chain processes that drive customer service and profitability in line with organisational objectives.
- Establish and monitor KPIs across all supply chain functions, reporting on performance to senior stakeholder and supply chain forums.
- Lead supply chain risk monitoring, mitigation and business continuity planning.
- Manage capital expenditure and operational budgets and lead supplier engagement to support business objectives.
- Maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring the team is responsive and delivers on agreed outcomes.
- Lead, develop and engage the supply chain team, embedding a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring
- Demonstrated senior leadership experience in supply chain operations, within QSR, FMCG or distribution environments.
- A proven track record of driving supply chain operations that drive performance, efficiency and profitability.
- Strong capability balancing tactical and strategic priorities in a fast-paced, changing setting.
- Experience developing and motivating high-achieving teams, with the ability to drive performance and work to KPIs.
- Deep understanding of demand and supply planning, production scheduling, inventory management, network optimisation and ERP systems.
- Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels and maintain a customer centric culture.
