What You’ll Be Doing As a key member of our shutdown team, you’ll play an important role in delivering safe and efficient mechanical rigging activities across fixed plant maintenance and shutdown projects.

Your responsibilities will include

- Mechanical Rigging: Performing rigging activities across fixed plant maintenance and shutdown projects.
- Lifting & Installation:



Safely lifting, moving, and installing structural steel, piping, and mechanical components.
- Equipment Inspections: Conducting equipment inspections, tagging, and required safety checks.
- Crane Operations: Assisting with dual crane lifts, equipment assembly, and other complex lifting activities as required.
- Technical Documentation: Reading and interpreting technical drawings, lift plans, and relevant documentation.
- Site Safety & Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean, compliant, and hazard-free work area at all times.

What You Bring To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

- Rigging Experience: Minimum 2 years’ rigging experience within the mining, resources, or heavy industrial sector.
- High Risk Work Licence: Current High Risk Work Licence with relevant rigging qualifications.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical understanding with proven shutdown and maintenance experience.
- Essential Tickets: Current White Card and valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Working at Heights & Confined Space: Current certifications, issued or refreshed within the past 2 years.
- Mask Fit Testing: Ability to successfully complete a respirator/mask fit test. A clean-shaven policy applies where required for respiratory protection.
- Safety & Reliability: A strong commitment to safety, teamwork, reliability, and delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced shutdown environment
