As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Intermediate Accountant to join our professional and supportive team. This role offers exposure to a diverse range of clients and industries, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skills and accelerate your career in public practice.

Key Responsibilities

As an Intermediate Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

· Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, self-managed superannuation funds and individuals.

· Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS), Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) and other compliance-related lodgements.

· Participating in audit and assurance engagements, including planning, fieldwork, substantive testing and preparation of audit working papers.

· Supporting business advisory engagements, including cash flow forecasting, budgeting, profitability analysis and business performance reporting.

· Continuing to develop technical knowledge across accounting, taxation, audit and business advisory services.

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:

· Between 2 and 3 years' experience within a public practice accounting firm.





· Experience preparing financial statements and income tax returns across a variety of entity types.

· Exposure to business services, taxation compliance and client accounting work.

· Excellent attention to detail and organisational capabilities.

· A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to expand your technical accounting and taxation knowledge.
