Mitchdowd was established in 1987 by the artist Mitch Dowd. He opened a pop-up store in Chapel Street with hand painted boxer shorts. The rest is history.

What you'll do:

- Own day-to-day IT across head office, retail stores, and warehouse operations across our Australia and New Zealand territories.
- Lead our cybersecurity uplift, including Essential Eight, access control, and user awareness.
- Act as technology owner for core systems including our Apparel21 ERP.
- Manage our Microsoft 365 and hybrid AD environment, plus work independently or with our MSP on networks, firewalls, and backups across sites.
- Support our EDI integrations and work with 3rd parties to ensure seamless integrations.
- Get ahead of problems: monitor the fleet, spot patterns in the ticket data, and fix root causes before users notice them.
- Manage projects to improve process and implement systems as required.
- Handle onboarding, offboarding, access management, and the device lifecycle.
- Manage vendors, licensing, and the IT budget.
- Automate the repetitive stuff so the team can focus on the work that matters.

What you'll bring:

You would rather build an alert or fix a root-cause than answer the same ticket for the fifth time.
- Calm under pressure with strong communication skills and able to manage user expectation while resolving issues.
- Ability to communicate and build relationships with all levels of the business.
- Robust Microsoft 365 capability.
- Practical Cybersecurity best-practice knowledge.
- Minimum 5 years IT support experience, ideally leading IT for a multi-site business in retail, apparel, or supply chain.
- A degree in IT or equivalent certifications would be valuable.
- Hunger and drive, and an interest in growing alongside the business.
