ABOUT THE ROLE:

As part of the Tony White Group, we are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will provide accurate and timely accounting support across the Group’s corporate and property operations. Working closely with the Corporate Accountant and wider Finance team, you’ll gain valuable exposure to financial accounting, month-end reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting and tax compliance.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

- Assist with general accounting, journals, reconciliations and month-end processes.

- Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting.

- Maintain corporate and property accounting records and fixed asset registers.

- Support property acquisitions, disposals and capital improvements.

- Assist with intercompany accounting and reconciliations.

- Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.

- Process and reconcile corporate recharges to dealerships.

- Assist with BAS, FBT and income tax compliance.

- Prepare supporting tax workpapers and documentation.

- Assist with ATO and State Revenue Office audit requests.

- Follow accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.

- Assist with improving finance processes and efficiencies.

- Maintain accounting systems, records and data integrity.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

You are organised, analytical and eager to develop your accounting career. You take pride in your attention to detail,



enjoy working with numbers and are comfortable managing deadlines and competing priorities.

You will ideally have

- A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, or be currently studying towards one.

- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role, including graduate or entry-level experience.

- A sound understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

- An understanding of reconciliations, journals and general ledger accounting.

- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a Finance team.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- A willingness to learn and develop your technical accounting capability.
