Junior Casual Team Member – Big Sam’s American Burgers

Southport, Gold Coast

We are looking for energetic, reliable and enthusiastic junior team members to join our friendly team at Big Sam’s American Burgers.

This role is ideal for a student or young person looking to gain experience in hospitality and rapid food. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided.

Working Hours

Shifts are available between 10:00 am and 10:30 pm, depending on the roster.

Availability after school, during school holidays and on weekends is highly desirable.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include

- Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Taking customer orders accurately
- Operating the POS system and handling payments
- Communicating clearly with customers about orders and menu items
- Helping prepare customer orders
- Packing burgers, chips and other menu items
- Checking orders for accuracy before serving or handing them to delivery drivers
- Assisting with basic food preparation
- Preparing ingredients and restocking workstations
- Assisting with dine-in, takeaway and delivery orders
- Washing dishes and cleaning equipment
- Keeping the kitchen, service area and workstations clean and organised
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Supporting other team members during busy periods
