Role Overview
Our College is seeking qualified Teachers who are excited about modern pedagogical practice and are keen to work in a fluid and agile learning space.

Responsibilities
As a Learning Designer (Teacher) at Calvary Christian College, your responsibilities centre upon planning, preparing and delivering effective learning programs. As a Learning Designer, you will:
- Reflect the College’s commitment to exceptional learning in everyday practice.
- Plan, prepare and report on quality learning experiences in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
- Maintain competency and a current knowledge of relevant curriculum requirements.
- Create supportive learning environments and effective behaviour management practices
- Work within a collaborative team to ensure supportive learning environments and effective behaviour management practices.
- Provide for the physical, social, cultural, emotional wellbeing and safety of students while at the College and assist students in becoming effective leaders within their community.
- Assess students for developmental, feedback and reporting purposes.
- Maintain student records and samples of work and report on student performance to students, parents, and other stakeholders as required.
- Participate in the collaborative development and evaluation of the curriculum and regularly monitor, through observation and evaluation, the effectiveness of the teaching program.
- Participate in co-curricular activities and career development (including mandatory training) and be familiar with and accountable to college policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships between the school and community.
- All teachers at Calvary are expected to plan, prepare, and deliver elements of the College’s Formation program, including devotions, lessons, and service learning as required.
- Other duties as required.

- Queensland College of Teachers registration
Selection Criteria
1. Demonstrated teaching competence and proficient understanding and application of contemporary pedagogy.
2.
Demonstrated understanding and application of the Australian Curriculum v.9.0 and/or QCAA Syllabi.
3. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and collaborative skills and capacity to create a classroom environment that improves student outcomes.
4. Outline how your faith and beliefs align with ours as a Christian College.
