Junior Medical Receptionist - Part Time

We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Junior Medical Receptionist to join our friendly, tight-knit team on a part time basis. This role involves working for children and adolescents in a behavioural and developmental setting.

No previous medical reception experience is required, on the job training will be provided to the successful applicant.

We are after someone with a positive attitude, has a solid willingness to learn, is able to work in a team and independently and has a genuine interest in developing their skills in medical administration. This role has the ability to grow over time.

We're after someone with flexibility to work 25-30 hours a week, Monday-Thursday between 8:30am and 5:30pm.

Pay range between $28 - $32.

Key responsibilities

- Answering phones and assisting with patient enquiries

- Booking and managing appointments

- General reception and administration tasks

- Document scanning

- Supporting medical and administrative staff





- Other general administrative duties, as required

About you

- Friendly, professional and reliable

- Excellent customer service skills

- Empathetic, compassionate and understanding towards others

- Confident written and verbal communication

- Good computer skills, including using Microsoft Office

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Able to work well under pressure and in busy environments

- Willing and eager to learn

- Able to work in teams and independently

- Able to stick to a routine and schedule
