We are seeking reliable and hardworking Labourers to join our busy meat processing team. This is a hands-on role suited to individuals who are physically fit, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace. Tasks may include:
- Handling and lifting meat products safely and efficiently
- Packing, labelling and sorting meat products
- Cutting, trimming, and sorting meat products
- Loading, unloading, and moving products safely
- Herd cattle through the race into slaughter floor
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Following workplace health and safety procedure
- Following animal welfare procedure
Ideal candidates will be:
- Capable of physically demanding and repetitive work
- Reliable and committed to working full-time hours
- Eager to learn and follow safety instructions
Candidates with the following previous experience are highly desirable:
- Experience working in fast-paced, physically demanding production environment highly desirable
- Experience handling livestock
