Regal Landscaping is a small, family-run residential landscaping business in Melbourne's south east. We do turf, paving, irrigation, edging, soft landscaping and full landscape residential jobs

We are looking for one person to run our small crew on site.

The role

Your job is to walk on site, make it happen, keep the apprentices and labourers moving, and talk to the client like a professional.

If you are strong on the tools, confident on the machines, and you would rather sort a problem out than ring someone about it, we want to hear from you.

What you will be doing

Running the crew

- Take our plan and materials list and turn it into a finished job
- Lead one to three apprentices and labourers on site, day to day
- Keep the job moving. Sort the small problems yourself, call us for the big ones
- Set out levels, read the plan, check your own work against it
- Keep the site safe and tidy under Victorian OH&S;

Talking to clients
- Answer the client's questions calmly and clearly
- Flag any change or variation with us before it happens, never after

On the tools
- Instant turf installation
- Paving, including step paving
- Metal and timber garden edging
- Soft landscaping, planting, mulching, soil prep
- Site prep: excavation, levelling, spreading base, loading and unloading trucks

What we need from you





- At least 5 years in landscaping, with time leading a crew
- Certificate III in Landscape Construction
- Genuinely valuable at turf, paving and edging. This is the bulk of our work
- Current driver's licence. Automatic is fine
- Can read a plan and set out levels without being walked through it
- Speaks well with clients. Calm, polite, no dramas
- Turns up, on time, every day
- Machinery tickets are a big plus

- $44 to $50 per hour depending on experience, plus super
