LEADING HANDS - CIVIL CONSTRUCTION | MORETON BAY & SUNSHINE COAST

We are currently seeking experienced Leading Hands to join growing civil construction teams delivering major infrastructure projects across the Moreton Bay and Sunshine Coast regions.

These roles will see you supervising small crews and coordinating daily site operations across a variety of road, bridge, drainage, and civil infrastructure projects.

You will play a key role in ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate daily site activities across roadworks, pavement, drainage, and associated civil construction projects
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, environmental, council, and TMR requirements
- Plan and coordinate labour, plant, equipment, and materials to meet project schedules
- Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and plant hire contractors on site
- Monitor productivity, site costs, and daily work outputs
- Maintain compliance with project specifications, construction programs, and quality standards
- Complete accurate daily reporting, site records, quantities, and progress updates

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Proven experience in civil construction, within road, infrastructure, and council projects across South East Queensland
- Strong knowledge of roadworks, drainage, pavements, bulk earthworks and civil infrastructure




- Demonstrated leadership capability with experience managing site crews and subcontractors
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, construction plans, and council/TMR specifications
- Effective communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with supervisors, engineers, clients, and site teams
- A proactive approach to achieving project milestones and meeting delivery timeframes
- A team-focused attitude with a commitment to contributing to a positive site culture
