Join a high-performing finance team in a lead role responsible for treasury operations, cash flow management, financial risk oversight, reporting and analytics. This is an exciting opportunity to join a State Government-owned Corporation on a 3 to 6 month temporary contract with the possibility of long-term opportunities.

Description

- Lead the day-to-day treasury function, including cash management, liquidity forecasting and debt management.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and support treasury reporting requirements.
- Manage key relationships with financial institutions and external stakeholders.
- Monitor financial risks and support the execution of risk mitigation and hedging strategies.
- Deliver financial analytics, payment analysis and project evaluations to support commercial decision-making.
- Prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate external audit requirements.
- Support month-end processes, reconciliations and financial control activities.
- Drive process improvements, strengthen financial controls and enhance reporting capability.




- Develop and maintain accounting policies and governance frameworks.

Profile A successful Lead Treasury and Financial Analytics should have:

- CPA or CA qualified with tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
- Ability to start immediately or within short notice.
- Demonstrated experience within treasury, corporate finance or a senior accounting role.
- Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting, liquidity management and financial reporting.
- Proven experience preparing statutory financial statements and managing audits.
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Proficiency using Power BI, TM1, Alteryx, Eor similar systems/tools preferred.
- Experience within a government organisation highly desired.
