Victory Minerals Pty Ltd is a private, well-funded company that acquired the world renown Ballarat Gold mine in 2024 and has since invested approximately $125m into capital and growth of the project, significantly improving development and production at the same time. Mining is within what was historically the third highest Gold producing area in Australia (up until 1990) and consistently delivers approximately 30,000 to 40,000 ounces per annum with increased exploration rapidly growing potential for up to 60,000 to 80,000 ounces per annum.

Role:
Victory Minerals is seeking an experienced Logging Geologist to oversee near-mine and surface exploration programs. Reporting directly to the Senior Drilling Geologist, the successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Detailed drill core logging.
- Assisting with planning and executing drill programs.
About You: To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Completed a bachelor’s degree majoring in geology.
- Experience with tenement management and statutory reporting.
- Solid understanding of QAQC protocols, drilling and sampling techniques used in gold exploration.
- Familiarity in 3D modelling and GIS software.
- Have a good understanding of Victorian geology and orogenic gold systems.
- Hold a current manual driver’s licence.
- Good communication skills
