TMPAC- TARLKA MATUWA PIARKU ABORIGINAL CORPORATION
We are Martu people, the Native Title Holders, Traditional Owners, and custodians of the Wiluna Native Title area, including the Matuwa and Kurrara Kurrara Indigenous Protected Area. Tarlka Matuwa Piarku Aboriginal Corporation (TMPAC) is the Registered Native Title Body Corporate (RNTBC) established to hold the Native Title rights and interests of the Wiluna Native Title Holders. TMPAC holds recognised Native Title rights under traditional law and custom and shares responsibility with the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions for managing Matuwa Kurrara Kurrara National Park and Lake Carnegie Class A Nature Reserve.

TMPAC is seeking a full-time Logistics and Administration Officer to join our growing team at our Perth Head Office. This role is ideally suited to an individual with a strong background in logistics who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and can confidently coordinate travel, accommodation, events, vehicles, and operational activities while also providing high-quality administrative support.
Working both independently and as part of a supportive team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of TMPAC's operations, meetings, projects, and events.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics
- Coordinate on-country meetings, workshops, and events, including travel, accommodation, venue hire, catering, and logistics.
- Support in-house meetings and events, including setup, pack-down, and catering arrangements.
- Arrange travel bookings including flights, accommodation, and transport for directors, committee members, and staff.
- Maintain vehicle records, logbooks, registrations, servicing schedules, and repairs.
- Coordinate hire vehicles and transportation requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for logistics enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the delivery of organisational events, including Annual General Meetings (AGMs).
- Create purchase orders and liaise with the Finance team regarding invoices and cost recovery.
- Manage the organisational calendar.
- Reconcile and manage logistics-related corporate credit card transactions.
Administration
- Provide general administrative support to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the office.
- Welcome and assist visitors and respond to enquiries professionally.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Maintain office supplies, equipment, and merchandise inventory.
- Work closely with the Office Manager to support organisational and project requirements.
- Assist staff with administrative tasks, data entry, and member enquiries.
- Provide reception coverage as required.
Selection Criteria
Essential
- Demonstrated experience in a logistics-focused role, including coordinating travel, accommodation, events, schedules, vehicles, or operational activities.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team workplace.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
- Professional and courteous phone manner.
Desirable
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, organisations, and communities in a culturally respectful manner.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with Traditional Owners, Elders, and community representatives.
