Food Manufacturing Machine Operator

This is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark and shine. We will fully train the successful applicant with the qualities we are seeking in the role of a machine operator on our state-of-the-art propac machine. This role would suit people who are just starting out in the workforce and looking at a career pathway or people looking to learn a new skill.

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY – We will train the right candidate!!!!!!!!

Skills & Qualities

- Must be physically fit, able to repetitively lift between 15-20kg.
- Be able to stretch, bend and lift arms repetitively above shoulder height.
- Be willing to work in a cold environment (between 2-4 degrees)
- Sound numeracy and literacy skills
- Be eager to learn and adapt to daily challenges




- A proactive-can do attitude with an invested interest in continuous improvement.
- Experience in (FMCG) within the food industry will be highly regarded but not essential.
- Basic mechanical skills to assist in the manipulation of machines highly regarded but not essential.
- Awareness and high regards in food safety, quality assurance and HACCP would be good, but we will train you.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Operation of Automatic bagging machine & food processing equipment
- Achieving output and line speed targets within set timeframes
- Working in fast-paced production lines, ensuring quality and reliability
- Ability to work rotating day/afternoon shift
- Flexibility to work overtime hours as and when required and weekends.
- Ensuring food safety standards are met including but not limited to allergen management and GMP
