At Batchfire Resources, we own and operate the historic Callide Mine in Central Queensland – a site that’s powered industries and communities since 1944. Located just outside the friendly town of Biloela (20km northeast), and 120km from Gladstone, we produce high-quality coal for both domestic and export markets.
About the Role
Location: Callide Mine, Biloela, Central Queensland.
We are currently seeking an Electrician to join our agile and high performing Maintenance Department at Callide Mine. Reporting to a Maintenance Supervisor on shift, the successful candidate will have extensive experience in routine maintenance and fault finding on draglines, high voltage trucks, coal plants and facilities.
The position will appeal to people who are willing to work together as part of a team to accomplish the tasks at hand, whilst also trusted to work independently at times. Personal attributes will include being accountable for your output and achievements, punctuality and always presenting fit for work. This position represents an attractive opportunity to contribute to the growth of the Callide Mine and in setting standards of excellence in mining operations.
