Your new role:

As Manager Administration Services, you will lead and manage the Emergency Department's administration workforce, providing strategic and operational leadership across a complex, fast-paced healthcare environment. Working closely with clinical and multidisciplinary teams, you will drive efficient administration services, workforce capability and continuous improvement while ensuring the patient remains at the centre of everything we do.

Key responsibilities

Lead the daily operations, performance and professional development of ED administration teams and support officers.

Manage workforce planning, recruitment, FTE allocations, payroll and financial resources to support effective service delivery.

Build strong multidisciplinary relationships and lead initiatives that improve administrative processes, efficiency and patient experience.

Drive innovation, change management, risk management and continuous improvement across administration services.

About you:

You are an experienced administrative leader who can confidently manage people, priorities and resources within a complex healthcare workplace. You bring strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to lead teams through change and deliver practical, outcome-focused solutions.

Skills & experience

Demonstrated leadership and workforce management experience within a complex environment.

Strong organisational, planning, communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Advanced problem-solving and change management skills with a focus on service improvement.

Knowledge of contemporary HR processes and systems, with Microsoft Office proficiency and the ability to rapidly learn health information systems.
