We are partnering with a leading global logistics organisation seeking an experienced Transport Administrator to join their busy operation in Lytton.
This is a great opportunity for someone with transport or logistics administration experience who enjoys a fast-paced operational environment and is confident working with drivers, customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Consigning and processing daily transport orders
- Tracking and monitoring drivers throughout their runs
- Liaising with customers, drivers and warehouse staff to coordinate daily operations
- Providing general administrative support to the transport team
- Maintaining accurate data entry and updating internal systems
- Assisting with transport-related queries and ensuring information is communicated efficiently
About You
- Booking and coordinating deliveries via online portals, email and phone
- Processing and maintaining transport documentation and paperwork
- Managing and filing PODs
- Scanning and electronically filing documents
- Reviewing transport reports and monitoring outstanding orders
- Following up with carriers regarding deliveries, PODs and outstanding consignments
- Updating internal systems and ensuring transport records are accurate and up to date
- Providing general administrative support to the transport team
