This specialist petrochemical company has been operating for decades and is currently experiencing significant growth. They are looking for an experienced Auto Electrician to join their established team in Derrimut.

Job description

- Installing and wiring pumps, meters, lights, switches, control panels and dispensing equipment.
- Fitting tanker safety systems, including overfill protection, emergency shut-off systems and monitoring equipment.
- Diagnosing electrical faults on trucks, trailers and tanker equipment.
- Repairing or replacing wiring, relays, sensors, control modules and electrical components.




- Testing completed work to ensure equipment operates safely and correctly.
- Reading electrical diagrams and following job specifications.
- Completing new tanker builds, equipment upgrades and scheduled maintenance.
- Working alongside diesel mechanics, fabricators and engineers.
- Following strict safety requirements, as the equipment is used to carry and dispense fuel and other hazardous liquids.

About you

- Trade-qualified Auto Electrician with a relevant trade certificate
- Minimum three years’ experience
- Punctual, reliable and motivated
- Able to diagnose and resolve problems effectively and to a high standard
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Full working rights in Australia
