We’re working with a well-established, values-led secondary school in Gore looking for an experienced Maths teacher to join their team.

The Opportunity

You’ll teach Mathematics across Years 9–13, supporting students through a combination of face-to-face teaching and online delivery.

The school takes a modern approach to teaching, with technology helping connect students and teachers beyond the traditional classroom. You don’t need to be an online teaching expert from day one, but you do need to be comfortable with technology and keen to embrace a different way of delivering learning.

With smaller student numbers and clear structures already in place, there’s more opportunity to understand individual learners and support their progress.

What We’re Looking For

You will ideally bring:

- Current NZ Teacher Registration and Practising Certificate
- Recent teaching experience within a New Zealand secondary school
- Strong working knowledge of the NZ Curriculum and NCEA
- Confidence teaching secondary Mathematics, including senior levels
- Valuable digital capability and confidence using technology for teaching
- A flexible, student-focused approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to work independently while still contributing to a supportive team

Recent NZ teaching experience is important, with NCEA experience strongly preferred.
