Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic – $60/hr | Campbellfield

We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics to join a busy workshop in Campbellfield. This is a great opportunity to work with a large modern fleet in a well-maintained workshop, with the potential to move into a permanent position.

What’s on offer

- $60 per hour
- Temporary role with potential for permanent full-time employment
- Monday to Friday
- Shift starts at 5am, 7am or 2pm
- Regular overtime available
- Contemporary, well-equipped workshop

About the role

- Service and maintain heavy vehicles, trucks and trailers
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
- Carry out preventative maintenance and servicing
- Complete repairs to a high standard




- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
- Follow all workplace health and safety requirements

What we’re looking for

- Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic
- Previous experience working on trucks and trailers
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Reliable and safety-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Welding and fabrication experience is advantageous
