Are you an experienced veterinary receptionist or a vet nurse who has realised your true passion is to help pets and owners by delivering excellent client care?

Located in Melbourne’s vibrant inner west, Epsom Road Vet is privately owned and growing. We are looking for a dedicated, friendly, and capable qualified who is as passionate about people as they are about pets.

As the first welcome and point of contact for our clients, you will help set the tone for their entire experience with us. If you enjoy building strong relationships with people, staying organised in a dynamic environment, and being a key part of a close-knit team—we’d love to meet you.

This role is full time (but we are open to anywhere from 30-38 hours per week).

You will work 5 days each week and this includes every second Saturday until 1.30pm

What your day will involve:

● Welcoming clients and managing front desk operations with professionalism and care.

● Scheduling appointments and managing client and supplier enquiries and communications (in person, phone, digital) with efficiency and compassion.

● Other administration duties including front of house inventory management, marketing support, and office duties to keep the clinic running efficiently and smoothly.

● You will work alongside an experienced clinical team to ensure we deliver the best of patient care, and a great client experience.

We’re looking for someone who:

● Has experience as a veterinary receptionist or is a qualified vet nurse with a strong customer service focus.

● Communicates clearly and confidently, even during busy times.





● Is confident handling client enquiries, discussing treatment plans and payments as well as knowledge of preventative and wellness pet health care reccomendations.

● Enjoys working autonomously as well as part of a team.

● Is proactive, well-organised, can multitask and prioritise.

● Loves building relationships with clients. The kind that connect us for years.
