An exciting leadership opportunity has become available for an experienced Head of Property Management to join a boutique real estate agency in Melbourne's Inner North.

This is a genuine opportunity to take ownership of a growing Property Management department, manage a personal portfolio while leading a team, and have a direct impact on culture, processes and business growth.

The successful candidate will oversee a rent roll of approximately 600 properties, while personally managing a portfolio of approximately 120 properties and leading a team of 3-4 Property Managers.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Managing an end-to-end portfolio of approximately 120 properties
- Overseeing a rent roll of approximately 600 properties
- Leading and mentoring a team of 3-4 Property Managers
- Providing coaching, support and guidance to the Property Management team
- Driving accountability and high performance
- Overseeing day-to-day Property Management operations
- Reviewing and improving processes and procedures
- Supporting team members with complex tenancy and landlord matters
- Maintaining strong landlord and tenant relationships
- Ensuring compliance with Victorian residential tenancy legislation
- Monitoring service levels and portfolio performance




- Supporting the continued growth of the rent roll
- Working closely with leadership on strategy and business development
- Helping create a positive, team-oriented and high-performing team culture

What We're Looking For:

- Strong Property Management experience
- Previous leadership or team management experience
- Experience overseeing or mentoring Property Managers
- Strong knowledge of Victorian residential tenancy legislation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational and operational capabilities
- Confident managing complex issues and difficult conversations
- Commercial awareness and an appetite for growth
- Ability to lead from the front while remaining hands-on
- Positive, energetic and team-focused approach
- Ability to bring people together and create a strong team environment
