Summary: EZ Prestige is looking for a reliable, organised and hands-on Yard Hand – Automotive to join our team.

Reporting directly to the Workshop Controller, you will play an important role in keeping the EZ yard, vehicles and site organised, clean and operating efficiently.

This is a hands-on position where you will work closely with the workshop and delivery teams to ensure vehicles are moved, prepared and presented to a high standard, while helping improve the overall productivity and efficiency of the workshop.

Key Responsibilities

- Car Park Management – organise and manage the car park and yard, ensuring vehicles are positioned correctly, safely and professionally.
- General Housekeeping of Site – maintain a clean, tidy and professional site, including the yard, warehouse and surrounding areas.
- Collecting & Delivering Vehicles – safely collect and deliver vehicles as required and ensure vehicles are ready for their next destination.
- Parts Collections – collect parts and other items as required to support the workshop and day-to-day operations.
- Working Closely with the Workshop to Improve Productivity – assist the workshop team with vehicle movements, preparation and general tasks to help keep workflow running efficiently.
- Stock Takes of Yard – conduct regular stock takes and maintain accurate awareness of vehicles and items located within the yard.
- Organise the yard, including vehicle positioning and presentation.
- Ensure vehicles are aligned neatly with no unnecessary gaps and maintain a professional appearance.




- Ensure all vehicles are clean, presented and ready for display or customer handover.
- Liaise with the delivery team regarding number plates, fuel and cleanliness of vehicles prior to delivery.
- Replace vehicle and key batteries when required.
- Install and remove number plates.
- Manage vehicle fuel levels and maintain fuel supplies.
- Keep the customer lounge clean, tidy and stocked with water.
- Assist with general yard and workshop duties as required.

General Housekeeping

A key part of the role is maintaining the overall presentation of the EZ Prestige site. Duties will include:

- Removing rubbish and keeping work areas tidy.
- Removing weeds and leaves.
- Removing cobwebs.
- Cleaning windows and general areas.
- Keeping the yard and warehouse organised and presentable.
- Ensuring vehicles and surrounding areas are maintained to a professional standard.

About You

- A full and current Australian Driver Licence.
