About the Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, the casual Warehouse Operator is responsible for supporting efficient warehouse operations through the safe handling, movement, storage and processing of goods.

Role responsibilities include:

- Loading and unloading goods from containers, trucks, trailers, and other storage areas
- Transporting materials throughout the production facility
- Supporting inter-warehouse stock and supply movement via dedicated shuttle truck
- Picking, packing, labelling and dispatching outbound cartons
- Verifying all inbound and outbound goods against documentation including manifests and pick-slips
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting stock control processes
- Ensuring stock integrity through appropriate handling, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) and quality standards
- Supporting stock level management to meet operational requirements




- Maintaining warehouse equipment, coordinating servicing and repairs, and ensuring equipment is safely shut down at the end of each day
- Completing routine forklift and equipment inspections
- Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and 5S standards across warehouse and waste collection areas
- Supporting other duties as required by the Warehouse & Distribution team

Skills And Experiences

About You

The successful candidate will have experience working in a busy warehouse environment with an understanding of basic warehousing principles and practices. You will also have:

- A forklift licence with experience operating in a warehouse environment (reach forklift experience highly desirable)
- Current Heavy Rigid (HR) licence highly desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, while also taking initiative and working independently when required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
- Good numeracy, literacy and computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive physical fitness and the ability to safely undertake manual handling tasks
- Commitment to maintaining a secure working environment
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including night shift
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Current driver’s licence
