Youth Focus is a for-purpose organisation that creates brighter futures for young people in WA by offering a range of no-cost mental health services. Established in 1994, Youth Focus delivers innovative and accessible mental health services and programs across WA to help young people aged 12 to 25.

With over 30 years' experience, we continue to evolve to meet the needs of young people and are excited to be establishing our new Youth Focus Perth Y outh Mental Health Hub in West Perth , located on Whadjuk Noongar Country.

About the Role

Youth Focus is seeking a passionate and experienced General Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team and play a pivotal role in establishing and delivering youth-friendly GP services within our Perth Youth Mental Health Hub .

This is a unique opportunity to help design and grow an innovative, integrated model of care that brings together mental health, physical health and wellbeing services for young people. Working closely with our Practice Manager, Clinical Director, and Leadership Team, you will help shape how safe, accessible and youth-friendly healthcare is delivered, ensuring an exceptional client experience while contributing to our vision of improving youth mental health outcomes across Western Australia.

Key responsibilities include:

- Deliver high-quality, youth-friendly, and person-centred healthcare providing comprehensive, coordinated and continuous care to young people
- Provide preventative healthcare, screening, early intervention,



and treatment that supports the physical, mental and social wellbeing of young people
- Champion the role of General Practitioner in delivering accessible and youth-friendly health services and promoting optimal youth mental health outcomes in the community
- Work with the Clinical Director, Chief Operating Officer, and organisational leaders to implement and review frameworks that support integrated and complex care services
- Help develop and implement Perth's Youth Mental Health Hub Model of Care, including GP shared-care pathways, resources, and innovative approaches to youth-friendly healthcare

To be considered, applicants will have:

- Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration
- 'C' Class Driver's Licence
- Demonstrated interest in youth mental health and innovative, integrated models of care
- Commitment to providing safe, accessible, and youth-friendly care for young people
- Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and patient-centered approach
- Collaborative working style, with an understanding that all clinicians contribute value to integrated care
