Equestrian Western Australia (EWA) is the State Sporting Organisation responsible for the development, promotion and governance of equestrian sport across Western Australia.

Based at the State Equestrian Centre in Brigadoon, this is an exciting opportunity to join a small, collaborative team and play a key role in connecting our members, promoting our sport and supporting the delivery of events and programs.

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for coordinating EWA's day-to-day marketing and communications activities.

You'll play an important role in engaging our members and stakeholders through digital communications, marketing campaigns and event promotion, while supporting the delivery of sponsorship servicing activities and organisational initiatives.

No two days are the same.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinate member and stakeholder communications across EWA's communication channels.

- Develop engaging content for EWA's website, social media, email marketing and other digital platforms.

- Plan and deliver marketing and communications campaigns promoting EWA, the State Equestrian Centre and member activities.

- Develop marketing collateral and promotional materials.

- Coordinate sponsorship servicing activities and deliver agreed partner benefits.

- Support the promotion and delivery of EWA events, education programs and organisational initiatives.





- Monitor marketing performance and identify opportunities to improve member engagement.

- Provide day-to-day marketing administration and communications support across the organisation.

About you

You'll be a proactive communicator who enjoys working in a small team and building positive relationships with members, volunteers and stakeholders.

You will ideally have:

- Qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a marketing, communications or digital media role.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Robust organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Experience working in a sporting, membership or not-for-profit organisation, or knowledge of equestrian sport, will be highly regarded.
