SUNRIVER TRADE PTY LTD is an Australian importer and distributor of quality MDF and decorative panel products, supplying MDF and decorative panel products to customers across the Australian market.

Due to the continued growth of our business and expansion of our product range, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Marketing Specialist to develop and implement marketing strategies that support business growth, strengthen our market presence and increase sales opportunities.

About the Position The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, developing, coordinating and implementing marketing strategies and promotional activities for the Company's imported MDF and decorative panel products.

The position will work closely with management and the sales team to identify market opportunities, understand customer requirements, develop promotional campaigns and improve the Company's brand awareness and market penetration.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct market research to identify market trends, customer needs, competitor activities and new business opportunities within the Australian MDF and decorative panel market;

Develop and implement marketing strategies and programs for the Company's imported MDF and decorative panel products;

Plan, develop and coordinate advertising and promotional campaigns to support sales objectives;

Develop marketing plans for new MDF and decorative panel products and product ranges;

Analyse customer and market data and provide recommendations to management;

Monitor competitor pricing, products, promotional activities and market positioning;

Identify target markets and develop strategies to increase customer awareness and product demand;

Develop and coordinate digital marketing, website and social media promotional activities;

Prepare marketing materials, product information and promotional content;

Coordinate advertising activities with external suppliers, designers,



media providers and other service providers;

Work with the sales team to develop customer-focused promotional strategies;

Assist in developing pricing and promotional strategies based on market conditions;

Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and prepare regular reports for management;

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Company's products, competitors and Australian MDF and decorative panel market conditions; and

Support management in developing strategies for business growth and market expansion.

Skills and Experience The successful applicant will have:

Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline; and/or relevant professional experience;

At least 3 years of relevant marketing experience;

Experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns;

Solid market research and analytical skills;

Knowledge of digital marketing, social media and website marketing;

Solid written and verbal communication skills;

Ability to analyse market trends and customer behaviour;

Strong organisational and project management skills;

Ability to work independently and as part of a sales and marketing team; and

Experience in the building materials, MDF, decorative panels, construction products or wholesale/import industry will be highly regarded.
