Materials and Logistics Coordinator – Offshore Project
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Materials and Logistics Coordinator to join a reputable engineering and energy services company supporting major offshore projects across Australia. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless coordination of materials and logistics, driving efficient supply chain operations that enable successful offshore project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all materials procurement, storage, transportation, and delivery activities for offshore projects.
- Liaise closely with vendors, subcontractors, construction teams, and project stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate supply of materials.
- Oversee logistics planning, including shipping, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and inventory control to meet project schedules and budgets.
- Monitor and report on the status of materials and shipments, maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with company standards.
- Support project teams by anticipating and resolving supply chain challenges and bottlenecks.
- Maintain robust safety and quality standards in line with offshore operational requirements.
- Manage offshore materials tracking systems and databases, ensuring efficient record-keeping and communication.
Requirements:
- Proven offshore experience in materials coordination and logistics within the oil, gas, or energy sector.
- Robust understanding of supply chain processes specific to offshore environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency with procurement and logistics software, as well as Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work flexibly in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
