Maxwell Recruitment & Training is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical TA to join a well-established engineering and maintenance business based in Rydalmere.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include

- Assisting Mechanical and Electrical Fitters with repairs and overhauls.
- Stripping, dismantling and reassembling industrial equipment.
- Assisting with electric motors, pumps and other rotating equipment.
- Cleaning, inspecting and preparing components for repair and assembly.
- Assisting with bearings, shafts, seals and other mechanical components.
- Operating gantry/overhead cranes where appropriately licensed.

About You To be considered, you will ideally have:

- Previous experience as a Mechanical Trade Assistant, Electrical Trade Assistant or Workshop TA.
- Positive mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand and power tools.
- Experience working around industrial machinery or rotating equipment highly regarded.




- Some electrical knowledge or previous exposure to electrical work would be advantageous.
- Experience working alongside Fitters and Electricians.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Gantry/Overhead Crane ticket highly regarded.
