Medical Officer / Clinical Research Physician
Brisbane | Early Phase Clinical Research A leading clinical research organisation is seeking a Medical Officer to support the delivery of Phase I clinical trials involving healthy volunteers and patient populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator across clinical studies.
- Conduct informed consent discussions, medical assessments, and participant eligibility reviews.
- Provide medical oversight, safety monitoring, and adverse event management.
- Perform protocol-specific clinical procedures and study-related medical activities.
- Collaborate with Operations, QA, Project Management, Recruitment and Pharmacy teams to ensure successful study delivery.
- Contribute to protocol reviews, audits, SOP development, and continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- Medical Degree with unrestricted AHPRA registration (minimum 2 years).
- Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Current GCP training preferred.
- Early phase clinical trial experience, cannulation skills, and ALS certification advantageous.
