Contractor Role | Flexible Work | Full Training Provided

About the Role

We are seeking experienced building and construction professionals to complete Victorian Rental Minimum Standards audits across residential rental properties.

You’ll assess properties against defined Minimum Standards criteria, capture photographic evidence and document findings using our mobile auditing system.

This is an independent, field-based role requiring practical building knowledge, attention to detail, reliability and sound judgement.

Full training on the Minimum Standards and our assessment process is provided.

About You

You’ll ideally have hands-on experience in building, construction, trades or property maintenance. Trade qualifications are highly regarded but not essential where you have strong relevant experience.

We’re looking for people who:

· Have strong practical building and construction knowledge

· Are thorough and have a high level of attention to detail

· Can follow defined assessment criteria consistently

· Can identify issues and know when further clarification or escalation is required

· Capture explicit, accurate photographic evidence

· Are reliable, punctual and accountable

· Can manage a daily schedule and work independently

· Are confident using smartphones and mobile apps





· Communicate professionally with renters, property managers and the office team

· Are receptive to feedback and ongoing training

Requirements

· Relevant building, construction, trade or property maintenance experience

· Trade qualification preferred

· ABN

· Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance

· Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle

· Smartphone

· Strong time management and communication skills

· Professional presentation
