Hays Technology is currently partnering with a leading organisation seeking an experienced Mobile Automation & Performance Test Analyst to join their team on an initial 6+ month contract based in Perth.This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled testing qualified with strong expertise in mobile test automation, web automation, and performance testing. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, scalability, and performance of mobile applications and backend systems.

Your new role

As a Mobile Automation & Performance Test Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and performance test solutions across mobile and web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify performance risks, improve system stability, and ensure high-quality software delivery.Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile and web applications.
- Perform performance, load, stress, and scalability testing across mobile applications and backend services.
- Develop and execute performance testing strategies using JMeter.
- Create and maintain automated testing frameworks, with a preference for Playwright for web automation.
- Analyse test outcomes and identify performance bottlenecks, stability issues, and areas for optimisation.
- Collaborate with development, business, and project teams to ensure testing activities align with delivery objectives.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including:
- Test Plans




- Test Cases and Test Scripts
- Test Data Sets
- Defect Reports
- Traceability Matrices and Supporting Documentation

- Provide clear and accurate reporting on testing progress, quality metrics, and identified risks.
- Produce complete documentation to support knowledge transfer, continuity, auditability, and ongoing support.

What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience in mobile test automation across Android and iOS platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with JMeter for performance and load testing.
- Proven expertise in web automation testing, ideally using Playwright.
- Experience executing performance, load, scalability, and reliability testing for enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
- Ability to analyse complex testing results and communicate findings effectively.
- Experience creating and maintaining detailed testing artefacts and documentation.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills.
