Smurfettes Cleaning Service is looking for two experienced local casual cleaners for NDIS participant-home cleaning in Caloundra and the approved nearby catchment.

Recruitment is open from 11 September 2026. Successful applicants are hired for casual cleaner roles, with shifts allocated as matching NDIS bookings and rosters become available. There is no promise of immediate work, guaranteed hours or a guaranteed commencement date.

Pay starts at A$33.85 per hour for the advertised work, plus superannuation in accordance with law. The employing entity, applicable industrial instrument, classification and rate will be confirmed in writing before commencement. Any higher minimum rate, penalty rate, overtime, minimum payment, paid required client-to-client travel time, or vehicle or other allowance required for the actual duties, roster and location will apply.

Caloundra cleaning focus

- Complete respectful household-cleaning routines in participant homes, including kitchens, bathrooms, floors, dusting and high-touch surfaces.
- Work from the agreed checklist and participant instructions while protecting privacy and property.
- Keep the required service notes and report access,



safety or quality issues through Smurfettes procedures.

Applicants must show substantial qualified cleaning experience with clear dates, duration, settings and duties in the CV. Domestic, commercial, hotel or disability-service cleaning experience can be relevant, but do not claim work you have not performed. You must have Australian work rights, a valid driver licence where required, and a reliable registered and insured vehicle. You must be able to reach the Caloundra service area within about 30 minutes at the actual rostered start time. NDIS Worker Screening status, or willingness and eligibility to obtain it, will be checked where assigned work requires it. This is a cleaning role and does not include personal care or support work unless separately agreed in writing.
