About the Roles
We are currently seeking multiple committed, compassionate and reliable Support Workers (Contractors) for an immediate start.
Female Support Workers – Personal Care & Daily Living
We are seeking female Support Workers to provide one-to-one personal care, daily living support and sleepovers to participants who require a high level of assistance.
Supports may include
- Personal care and daily living tasks
- Community access and social participation
- Routine support and structured activities
- Overnight sleepovers
Applicants for these roles must be available for at least:
- Two weekday long shifts per week of approximately 6–8 hours each
Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleepovers and weekends.
Male Support Workers – Community Access
We are also seeking experienced male Support Workers to provide community access and social participation support to participants with intellectual disability and/or autism spectrum disorder.
Applicants for these roles must be available for at least:
- Two shorter shifts per week of approximately 2–3 hours each
Additional weekday or weekend availability will be highly regarded.
Immediate start is available, subject to satisfactory checks, clearances and onboarding requirements.
About You
You genuinely enjoy supporting people and understand the importance of dignity, respect, reliability and person-centred care.
You will bring
- A genuine interest in supporting people living with disability
- A caring, empathetic and patient approach
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- Good communication skills
- Previous disability support experience, preferably working one-to-one with participants
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Relevant disability, community services or care qualifications and/or training
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- Completion of required NDIS Worker Orientation Modules
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Infection Control training
- Manual Handling training
- Medication Administration competency
- Two professional references
