About the Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Construction Managers to lead bulk earthworks and civil infrastructure projects across Perth and regional Western Australia. These are senior leadership opportunities for practical, safety-focused construction professionals who can drive project performance, lead multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality outcomes across demanding civil environments. The role will suit someone with a strong background in bulk and detail earthworks, mining infrastructure, roadworks, drainage, pavements, or major civil packages, with the ability to manage programmes, budgets, subcontractors, plant, people, safety, quality, and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the safe and efficient delivery of bulk earthworks and civil construction projects across WA. · Manage site teams, supervisors, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and plant resources.
· Drive programme performance, cost control, productivity, quality, and commercial outcomes.
· Oversee project planning, construction methodology, sequencing, staging, and risk management.
· Ensure compliance with HSE, environmental, quality, client, and statutory requirements.
· Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
· Review project forecasts, cost-to-complete reporting, variations, claims, and contract performance.
· Provide visible leadership, mentoring, and accountability across project delivery teams.
· Promote a positive safety culture and support continuous improvement across operations.
About You
· Proven experience as a Construction Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Superintendent, or senior civil construction leader.
· Strong background in bulk earthworks, civil infrastructure, land development, mining infrastructure, roads, drainage, or related civil works.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple work fronts, large crews, subcontractors, and heavy plant operations.
· Commercially capable, with experience in budgets, forecasting, cost control, variations, claims, and reporting.
· Strong understanding of safety systems, environmental controls, quality assurance, and construction compliance.
· Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
· Relevant civil engineering, construction management, project management, or trade qualifications are highly regarded.
· White Card, valid driver’s licence, and unrestricted Australian working rights are required.
· Experience with MRWA, Oil and Gas Clients, Mining and Resources clients, regional WA projects, FIFO/DIDO environments, or large civil contractors will be highly regarded.
