Full-Time New Graduate Veterinarian – Wellington Veterinary Hospital

Based in the central west of NSW, Wellington Veterinary Hospital is a modern, rural mixed practice providing professional and high standard health care by a friendly, dedicated team. Wellington cares for a variety of animals from large animals to small animals including cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and the occasional wildlife. Here you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in all facets of animal care and even assist farmers on the surrounding properties.

You will be mentored by 2 experienced Vets and a dedicated team to assist in the development of your surgical and medical skills, you will enjoy the country life to gain valuable hands-on experience, where no 2 days are the same.

The Role

We are currently looking for a new or recently graduated vet to join our welcoming, collaborative team to:

- Provide high-quality veterinary care across a diverse and compelling caseload
- Opportunity to focus on your areas of interest – we can accommodate preferences
- One week in four on-call (Monday afternoon – Monday morning), shared equally (once you have settled into your role and with the support of our experienced vets)

You will have access to the Vets Central New Graduate Program, which is a 24-month mentored journey designed to support your transition from university to the qualified world. Our program focuses on key areas of development,



providing hands-on clinical experience, business skills, personal well-being support, and exceptional client communication training. Requirements:

- Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or an equivalent degree recognised in Australia.
