Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist passionate about paediatrics and ready to take your career to the next level?

About the Role





We’re looking for a creative, confident Occupational Therapist who is passionate about making a meaningful difference for people living with neurological conditions. You’ll support clients living with conditions including:

- Stroke
- Spinal cord injury
- Traumatic brain injury
- Multiple sclerosis (MS)
- Motor neurone disease (MND)
- Parkinson’s disease (PD)
- Cerebral palsy
- Intellectual disability
- Other neurological conditions

What You’ll Do You’ll have the opportunity to:

- Deliver comprehensive OT assessments, interventions, education and reports
- Prescribe and apply for assistive technology
- Build expertise in home modifications
- Support clients to achieve meaningful, long-term goals
- Collaborate with a close-knit multidisciplinary team
- Think creatively and tailor therapy to each client
- Mentor and supervise junior clinicians

Desired Skills and Experience

Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- 3+ years of Occupational Therapy experience
- Experience working within an NDIS framework
- Successful candidates are required to undertake a Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screen.
- Driver's Licence
- COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination

Desirable

- Familiarity, knowledge and understanding of prescribing a range of assistive technology
- Understanding and awareness of supporting neurodivergence and family centred practice
