About the role

As part of the Quality Assurance Team, this position will be responsible for the monitoring of products to ensure they meet all safety, quality, regulatory and customer requirements. This position will be for the afternoon shift working from 12:00pm – 8:00pm Monday to Friday

Your responsibilities may include:

- Product testing and monitoring
- Monitoring of critical control points
- Reporting and monitoring of production records accuracy
- Conduct calibration of equipment
- Conduct GMP inspections, reporting on findings and ensuring suitable corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner
- Assist in the creation and amendment of work instructions and training materials as part of continuous improvement
- Assist with investigating customer complaints, non-conformances and out of specification product
- Assist with verification activities
- Assist with internal audits

Key Skills and Knowledge:

- Knowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP.
- Can work in a fast-paced team setting and communicate well within it.
- Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to adapt style for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Can work autonomously and is self-motivated.




- Calm and professional under pressure.

Experience/Qualifications:

- Tertiary qualification in Food Science or Food Technology or equivalent is highly desirable
- Experience within the Food or Beverage industry would be advantageous
