Lead the protected, reliable and cost-effective operation of a major cogeneration power station. This senior leadership role is responsible for plant performance, maintenance, engineering, safety, compliance and continuous improvement while developing a high-performing team culture.
This role would ideally suit a hands-on plant/operations manager who enjoys leading tight-knot teams whilst being across operations and engineering.
Key Deliverables
- Lead site operations, maintenance and engineering teams to achieve business plan targets.
- Maximise plant reliability, availability and asset life whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.
- Manage budgets, costs, performance reporting and business planning activities.
- Oversee maintenance planning,
outage execution and plant improvement programs.
- Drive operational efficiency, reliability improvements and defect elimination initiatives.
- Lead contractor management, emergency preparedness and risk management processes.
Selection Criteria
- Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
- Power generation or industry-adjacent experience including a senior leadership role in operations, engineering and/or asset management.
- Strong commercial, financial and risk management acumen in relation to power generation asset performance.
- Proven leadership, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement skills.
You need to have existing Australian working rights to be eligible for this role.
