The Opportunity

n

An exciting opportunity is available for a Process Specialist - Technical to join Goodman Fielder on a 9-month fixed-term contract, based at our Clayton site with some travel to Dandenong and Pampas as required.

n

Reporting to the Regional Technical Manager, you'll help identify and implement process, product and manufacturing improvements, working closely with Operations, R&D;, Technical, Quality and Continuous Improvement.

n

This is a hands‐on role for someone who combines technical capability with strong communication and relationship‐building skills — able to translate technical data into practical solutions and bring stakeholders along the journey.

What you will do

n

- Partner with Operations, R&D;, Technical, Quality and CI teams on NPD, technical and process improvement initiatives.
n
- Analyse data to identify opportunities to improve waste, efficiency, productivity and process control.
n
- Support new product launches, product trials, recipe optimisation and raw material testing.
n
- Translate technical data and trial results into clear recommendations and actions.
n




- Support the implementation of new technology and process improvements across site.
n
- Build strong relationships across the business and communicate technical requirements clearly.
n

What you will bring

n

n
- Degree qualified or working towards a degree in Process Engineering, Food Science or a related discipline.
n
- FMCG manufacturing experience is essential, ideally within food, dairy, baking or beverage.
n
- Strong technical and analytical capability, with excellent communication and stakeholder skills and the ability to turn insights into practical solutions.
n
- Proactive and hands‐on, with strong planning, organisation and problem‐solving skills.
n
- Exposure to SAP and emerging AI technologies is highly regarded.
