Part-Time Chef de Partie

Eating House Rowville is seeking an experienced and reliable Chef de Partie to join our established kitchen team.

Operating since 2004, Eating House is a busy premium-casual restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. We offer a broad up-to-date menu and cater for functions, events, takeaway and high-volume services.

About the role

This is a hands-on, part-time position for a capable chef who can confidently manage a section and maintain consistency during busy services.

Your responsibilities will include

- Preparing and cooking dishes to established recipes and presentation standards
- Confidently operating across pans, grill, fryer and larder
- Completing mise en place accurately and efficiently
- Managing your section during busy breakfast, lunch and dinner services
- Maintaining portion control and minimising food waste
- Following food-safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures
- Assisting with stock rotation and kitchen organisation
- Communicating clearly with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team

About you To be considered, you should have:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experienced cook
- Commercial cookery qualifications or equivalent industry experience
- Confidence working independently on a section
- Experience in fast-paced,



high-volume à la carte service
- Robust organisation and time-management skills
- Consistent presentation and attention to detail
- A calm, reliable and team-focused approach
- Availability for a combination of weekday and weekend shifts
- Flexibility to work breakfast, lunch and evening services
- Valid Australian working rights
