Part-Time Kitchen Hand

Eating House Rowville is looking for a reliable and hard-working kitchen hand to join our busy kitchen team.

Operating since 2004, Eating House is an established premium-casual restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.

About the role

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who works quickly, takes pride in cleanliness and can remain organised during busy services.

Your responsibilities will include

- Operating the commercial dishwasher
- Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
- Keeping the dishwashing and kitchen areas clean and organised
- Completing scheduled cleaning duties
- Emptying bins and managing waste correctly
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation when required
- Receiving and storing deliveries
- Following food-safety, hygiene and workplace-safety procedures
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy services

About you We are looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, punctual and hard-working
- Can work quickly and calmly under pressure
- Maintains high cleaning and hygiene standards
- Can safely perform the physical requirements of the role
- Communicates well and works as part of a team




- Is available for evening and weekend shifts
- Has reliable transport to Rowville
- Holds valid Australian working rights

Previous kitchen-hand or hospitality experience is preferred, but training can be provided to the right applicant.
