The team at Bar Biscotti are looking for a talented Pastry Chef to execute a consistent rotational offering of pastries for our cult favourite cafe in North Strathfield!

This is a rare opportunity to join a popular venue and have full autonomy of the pastry offering with a supporting team. You will be responsible for executing our pastry offering to the highest standard, and setting the tone for a culture of quality, creativity, and consistency. The main rotational baked goods will be centred around gourmet cakes, cookies, twice baked croissants, tarts, danishes and muffins - however management are open to explore new exciting avenues.

This role is ideal for an individual who doesn't want to work in a bakery production and enjoys the ability to create new items, work in an open space with the ability to engage with customers and is looking for the flexibility to place their flare on new pastry items.

Your Role:

- Oversee and execute a curated menu of standout pastries
- Manage daily production and workflow
- Maintain exceptional standards in taste, presentation, and consistency
- Ensure compliance with WHS and food safety standards




- Collaborate with ownership to refine and evolve the offering over time

About You:

- 3 years in a pastry role, with strong experience with new recipes
- Deep knowledge of classic and contemporary pastry techniques
- Proven ability to lead a team in a high-quality, fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills
- Strong understanding of food safety and WHS protocols
- A calm, focused presence in the kitchen and a genuine love for pastry
