Vassallo Constructions is a family-focused civil construction business that has been operating and growing successfully across Central Queensland since 1997. We undertake a variety of civil projects, with individual contracts valued up to $50M. Our multi-skilled workforce includes plant operators, pipelayers, concreters and civil labourers, and with a strong pipeline of work ahead, we are looking for experienced people to join our Mackay team.
Concreters
We are looking for experienced Concreters with skills across one or more areas of civil concreting.
You’ll bring
- Previous civil concreting experience
- Experience in concrete finishing, form setting and/or steel fixing
- Construction White/Blue Card
- Current Driver Licence
- Trade qualification desirable but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
Civil Labourers
We are looking for experienced Civil Labourers who are comfortable working across a variety of civil construction activities.
You’ll bring
- Proven experience working within the civil construction industry
- Experience undertaking physical and hands-on construction activities
- Construction White/Blue Card
- Current Driver Licence
- The ability to follow instructions and work safely with supervisors and team leaders
- A reliable, positive and team-focused approach
Pipelayers / Plumbers
We are looking for experienced Civil Pipelayers / Plumbers to work across our civil construction projects in the Mackay region.
You’ll bring
- Experience in civil pipelaying / plumbing
- Experience with sewer, water and stormwater installation
- Construction White/Blue Card
- Current Driver Licence
- A strong commitment to safe work practices
- The ability to work effectively as part of a civil construction team
- Plumbing or drainage qualifications will be highly regarded
About the Roles
Based in Mackay, you’ll work across a variety of civil construction projects, including sewer, water and stormwater installation, subdivisions and public works. We’re looking for people who are reliable, safety focused, take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a robust civil construction team.
These are Mackay-based roles and are not FIFO. There may be occasional requirements to work away from Mackay on projects within the Central Queensland region.
