A major Australian bank is looking for multiple Platform Engineers to join its enterprise technology team. Its a 12 month contract likley to extend.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Platform Engineer with strong AWS, cloud engineering, API development and enterprise-scale platform engineering experience.

You will play a key role in designing, building and evolving highly scalable, secure and resilient platforms that support critical technology services across the organisation.

Responsibilities

- Design, build and maintain enterprise-scale platforms across AWS
- Develop and integrate APIs and cloud-based services
- Build scalable, secure and highly available cloud engineering solutions
- Develop reusable platform capabilities, tooling and engineering patterns
- Automate infrastructure and platform deployments using Infrastructure as Code
- Integrate AWS services with enterprise applications and technology platforms




- Improve platform reliability, scalability, performance and observability
- Implement strong security, governance and operational standards
- Troubleshoot complex platform and cloud engineering issues

Key skills / experience
- Platform Engineer with experience operating within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Robust hands-on AWS experience in a large enterprise experience
- Proven cloud engineering expertise
- Strong platform engineering experience within enterprise environments
- Experience with API development and integration
- Experience designing and building scalable cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of automation and Infrastructure as Code
