Mountain Creek Veterinary Clinic is looking for an experienced General Practice Veterinarian to join our established and close-knit team on a part time basis.

This is a genuinely rare opportunity to join our team. Veterinary positions don't become available often, with this being only the second veterinary position we've recruited for in the past nine years.

We're looking for a veterinarian with 3–5 years of experience who is seeking a part-time role with a supportive team, a great work-life balance and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

About Our Clinic

Mountain Creek Veterinary Clinic is an established small animal practice with an experienced and dedicated team who take pride in providing high-quality veterinary care to the local community.

You'll be joining a supportive team of experienced veterinarians and nurses, with the opportunity to work alongside colleagues who value collaboration, continuity of care and building strong relationships with clients.

This role has been created to support the team as several of our existing veterinarians reduce their working days, providing an exciting opportunity for a new team member to become an integral part of our clinic.

About the Role
n
Part-time position working approximately 26.5 hours per week
n
Regular roster of Wednesday to Friday
n
1 Saturday in 5
n
No after-hours or on-call requirements
n
Clinic closed on public holidays
n
Approximately 1 surgery day per week
n
Potential opportunity to pick up additional shifts on Mondays and Tuesdays when team members are away
n
Sole-charge responsibility only for the occasional weekend shift
n
This role offers the perfect balance for a veterinarian looking to work a consistent part-time schedule while still having the flexibility to pick up additional hours when available.

About You
n
A qualified veterinarian registered to practice in Queensland
n
Ideally 3–5 years' experience in small animal general practice
n
Confident working across a varied GP caseload
n
Comfortable performing routine surgery and general procedures
n
A compassionate and confident communicator who enjoys building relationships with clients and their pets
n
A collaborative team player who enjoys contributing to a positive clinic culture
n
Comfortable working independently when required for the occasional weekend shift
n
Looking for a long-term, part-time opportunity within an established team
n
No after-hours or on-call requirements

No public holiday work
n
Potential to pick up additional shifts when team members are on leave
