About the Role

As a Casual Retail Assistant, you’ll be one of the faces of Up There Athletics. You’ll help customers find the right products, share your product knowledge, maintain an exceptional store environment, and contribute to a positive and energetic team culture. Whether it’s fitting a customer with their next pair of running shoes, supporting online orders, or helping prepare for a community event, you’ll play an important role in bringing the Up There Athletics experience to life.

What You’ll Be DoingCustomer Experience & Sales

- Deliver friendly, knowledgeable and authentic customer service.
- Help customers find the right products and provide expert product recommendations.
- Process sales and returns accurately.
- Support online order fulfilment when required.
- Contribute to achieving daily and weekly sales targets.

Store Presentation
- Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming store environment.
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management.
- Ensure the shop floor, fitting areas and back-of-house spaces are well presented.




- Support opening and closing procedures when rostered.

Team & Community
- Work collaboratively with your teammates.
- Support store events, launches and community activations.
- Contribute positively to our culture and customer experience.
- Represent the Up There Athletics brand with professionalism and energy.

About You

You’ll be someone who:

- Has 1-2 years’ experience in retail, hospitality or customer service.
- Loves working with people and creating memorable customer experiences.
- Has strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Is reliable, punctual and adaptable.
- Enjoys being part of a team and contributing to a great culture.
- Has an interest in running, fitness, sport or community.
- Is available to work across weekdays, weekends and peak trading periods.
