They are seeking an experienced Midwife to join their Roebourne clinic team, supporting Aboriginal women, babies and families throughout their maternity journey. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Midwife who enjoys autonomous practice, community-focused care and making a genuine difference in a community-controlled health service.

- $116,000-$120,000 base salary + super
- Subsidised housing at $250/week
- Monday-Friday | 8:30am-4:45pm

The Role
This is an opportunity to step into a diverse community Midwifery role where clinical expertise, autonomy and genuine community connection come together.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive antenatal and postnatal care, including monitoring, referrals and follow-up
- Supporting women and families through pregnancy with education around healthy pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding
- Coordinating specialist and obstetric appointments in collaboration with WACHS and local health providers
- Providing broader women's health services including cervical screening,
vaccinations and iron infusions
- Identifying and appropriately referring clients requiring additional mental health, drug and alcohol or other support services
- Building strong relationships with Aboriginal women, families and community organisations
- Supporting the transition from maternity care into Child and Family Health services
- Maintaining high-quality clinical documentation and contributing to ongoing quality improvement
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
- Minimum 2 years' Midwifery experience in a hospital or clinic setting
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Midwife
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience across maternity care
- Relevant postgraduate Midwifery qualification
- Ability to work confidently and independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills
- A genuine understanding of the factors impacting health outcomes for Aboriginal women and babies
- Current CPR certificate and Australian driver's licence
